Personal privacy protection


 
The processing of the customer's personal data by NV JM Bruneau Belgium, Chaussée de Lille, 422, 7051 Orcq-Tournai, RPM/RPR - VAT BE 0465.015.822, responsible for this processing, serves the purpose of accepting and treating the customer's order, providing credits, producing statistics and tests and managing customer relations. This also implies the means of promotion and services of the different companies within the 3 Suisses International group and its commercial partners.

JM Bruneau is liable to ask the customer for certain data in order to optimise the organisation of a commercial relationship and the expected service: company name, contact person, delivery and invoice address, e-mail address.

Some data are required for the consideration of the customer's question or order, while other data may help to be better acquainted with the customer and, consequently, better adjust the offers to his needs.

On the pages where personal information is asked for, it is made clear to the customer which information is required (indicated by following symbol ), and which information is optional, as well as what can be the consequences of not filling in a particular field.

The customer has the right of access to his personal information at any time and the right to request that his information be corrected by sending a letter (c/o JM Bruneau - Kortrijksesteenweg 410 - 9000 Ghent - Belgium) or an e-mail with a recto/verso copy of his ID card to the specific service which can be reached by clicking here.

The customer's information can be transmitted to the partners of JM Bruneau for direct marketing purposes. He can oppose to this by sending a letter or an e-mail with following text: "I oppose to any transmission of my personal data to third parties for direct marketing purposes." Should the customer wish to receive catalogues only (i.e. without promotional offers, gifts or discounts), or no documents at all, he can always inform us by letter (c/o JM Bruneau - Kortrijksesteenweg 410 - 9000 Ghent - Belgium) or e-mail (info@jm-bruneau.be). JM Bruneau records certain telephone conversations between customers and call center agents only to improve its service.



Personal information 
The transmission of personal data is required since this information is necessary for the processing and delivery of orders as well as the invoicing procedures. This information is strictly confidential. If it is missing from the order, the order will be automatically cancelled.

According to the law of December 8, 1992, with regard to personal privacy protection, the treatment of personal data collected on the website was the subject of a declaration of the Belgian Privacy Commission. The customer has the right of access, correction and deletion of all data concerning him.

Eventually, it is possible that JM Bruneau transmits personal data to its commercial partners. Consequently, the customer may receive commercial offers from third parties. In this respect, it is laid down that, unless the customer explicitly refuses this, his personal data can be transmitted to the commercial partners of JM Bruneau. Naturally, it is possible for the customer to retrospectively refuse such transmissions by stating his refusal while the order is being treated, or by retrospectively stating his refusal through letter or e-mail as stated in the above paragraph.



Cookies 
The website uses cookies. A cookie is a file created by a website to store information on the customer's computer. It indicates whether the customer has visited the site before. JM Bruneau for one uses cookies to be able to offer a customer specific service.

With every visit, our site also collects, through the activated software on your computer, information concerning date, visited pages, duration of your visit as well as the IP address of your computer, provider, search engine and links which have led to this visit. This information enables us to improve our website and the cooperation with our partners.
